Do your shades require special bulbs?
They require standard candelabra bulbs only.
Our shades are designed to clip snugly onto a candelabra bulb. These are easy to find in both standard incandescent and LED types.
A candelabra bulb is classified as a B10 shape bulb with an E12 size base.
If your fixture has E26 size sockets, you can use easy-to-find E26 to E12 adapters.
My lamp has standard E26 type bulb sockets. Can I use your shades?
Definitely! You can use them with bulb adapters.
Our shades are small and do not fit E26 bulbs. Our shades have a clip that fits the candelabra type of bulb only. The socket for candelabra bulbs is E12, much smaller than E26.
You can use common E26 to E12 adapters to fit the right bulbs in your fixture. They are available all over, including Amazon, Walmart and many others. (Be sure to get E26 to E12 adapters and not the other way around!)
Where can I get the right type of bulbs?
Most hardware stores carry candelabra bulbs. Also search online for many sources for this type of bulb.
Can I use flame-tip or small round bulbs?
No! Flame-tip or small round bulbs will not fit the bulb clip. Our shades are made for standard candelabra-shaped bulbs only. They will not fit on flame tip or other shapes of bulbs.
